Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary is the largest women's patriotic service organization. We offer support to the community through programs and public events, and alongside the American Legion. ​
Community Service Projects

- Support the Salvation Army
- Support the local food pantry
- March in Burgerfest parade
- Support Good Shepherd facilities
- Serve food during the Outagamie County Fair
- Read to residents at Shepherd's Inn
Education

Sponsor an essay contest
- Recognize local teachers, support staff, and bus drivers during National Education Week
- Promote Badger Girls State
- Sponsor a poppy poster contest
- 1st Annual Scholarship to be offered to Seymour HS senior girl
Service to Veterans
- Support King Veterans Home
- Provide comfort bags to disabled women veterans at Camp American Legion
- Deliver valentines to veterans in the Good Shepherd facilities
- Juniors write thank you letters, color pictures and deliver them to veterans in Good Shepherd facilities and home-bound veterans
- Support our local Legion activities
- Volunteer at the Green Bay and Appleton health clinics
- Support the Got Your 6K9 program
- Distribute poppies
- Cut coupons for overseas military bases
- Support the USO
